The second Microsoft Dynamics Summit wrapped up in Dubai, and Microsoft disclosed new information on new Dynamics tools that will allow organizations to utilize data more efficiently, at greater speeds, and with greater accuracy. Taking place at Jumeirah Beach Hotel, hundreds of business leaders, investors, channel partners, and end users from UAE and the Middle East flocked here to discover the newest Dynamics programs, strategies, and cutting-edge technologies to further improve their businesses.

Microsoft Dynamics products aim to provide assistance to management and give management the confidence to make important business decisions with regards to Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP). Microsoft Dynamics products include Microsoft Dynamics CRM Online, Microsoft Dynamics GP, Microsoft Dynamics AX and Microsoft Dynamics NAV. Microsoft Dynamics experts spoke at the summit divulging tips on how to effectively implement the products and which products best suit the needs of the business.

The summit had presentations that tailored to a wide variety of industries. Industries that presentations covered included the public sector, real estate, financial services, manufacturing, and distribution. Microsoft Gold Partners also held presentations for real estate, banking, hospitality, business intelligence, and ERP for small to mid-size organizations. Some organizations made presentations for others of similar industries; for example, the UAE Ministry of Health shared their Dynamics practices with other healthcare organizations.

A new Microsoft Dynamics CRM release will release by the end of Q2 2015 that will come with more performance enhancements, greater integration with Office 365, and improvements to efficiency & collaboration between staff and businesses with new knowledge management enhancements. This release will also present a function called Microsoft Social Engagement, an update intended to enable businesses to monitor and engage within the context of Dynamics CRM or Office. The data collected from this release will allow businesses to acquire new information about what customers say among the various social channels.

This summit also brought about Power BI Connectors for Dynamics CRM and Dynamics Marketing for out-of-the-box integration. Power BI will come with interactive dashboards and reports, allowing for quicker insights and decision-making for sales, service, and marketing professionals.

Good Technology has provided secure management for the Dynamics CRM tablet app. Organizations will have the ability to enforce central policy management such as data wipes and password controls. Organizations can also allow employees to access the Dynamics CRM tablet app’s capabilities while enforcing corporate policies for customer data. Microsoft acquired intellectual property from Fusion Software built on Dynamics CRM that adds voice-of-the-customer functions. With new rule-based, multi-channel enterprise feedback management capabilities, companies can include customer feedback into service, sales and marketing engagements.
